Introduction :
SMS (Short Message Service) banking is an
unattended system providing 24 hours service to the Bank’s customers for
accessing their account information using mobile instrument.
SMS banking uses SMS technology to transmit Short Text
Message to Mobile Phones. Presently there will be no transaction only pulling
the information from database.
User friendly:
SMS banking is extremely easy to use. The customer only
needs to send the message to the SMS banking mobile number in a pre-defined
text format set by the bank for accessing all the facilities offered by the
system.
Saving of Time & Cost :
SMS banking is the most customer friendly service, the
customer need not go to bank branch he can just send SMS and receive the
information thru SMS on mobile phone, it will save time, energy.
